Reminder: New West Seattle Water Taxi schedule

Tomorrow (Monday) morning, the King County Water Taxi‘s West Seattle-Downtown run starts its new schedule: morning and evening commutes only, Mondays-Fridays. Here’s the full schedule. And note that until the Rachel Marie is back in service (still undergoing repairs from last month’s crash), the Sightseer is handling the run, which means to and from Pier 55.

    money pit.

One of the biggest wastes we have.

It won’t seem like such a waste when the viaduct is torn down.

The water taxi is amazing for fun short trips into the city. Money pit or not it improves the quality of life in Seattle and isn’t that why most of us have moved here :)

Waste? I’m with Panda; you’ll think differently when there’s no viaduct. Anytime you’re stuck in traffic on a bus, there’s this feeling of wishing you took the water taxi. I think year round service is a great idea.

Sorry, comment time is over.
