West Seattle Crime Watch: Car-theft arrest on Delridge

Got a call (thank you!) a while ago about a large police presence at/near the Shell station at Delridge and Orchard. Just so happened we were nearby, at the Southwest Precinct, at the time – where Lt. Norm James told us a parking-enforcement officer had spotted what turned out to be a stolen car; the responding officers wound up finding not just a stolen car, but arresting a suspect, too.

WOO HOO I love this GREAT JOB parking enforcement way to be mindful of the current thefts in our area, usually the victims never find out who stole their car, a suspect in the car is perfect. Can I come to the station and kick him in the shin? :)

YIPPEE!!! I’ve had my car stolen twice and the police didn’t even pretend to be interested in it – please please please make the thief somehow pay. I swear, stealing cars is almost legal in this town! Go parking enforcement! Glad there’s a cop shop 300 feet from there!

Wait for me, I want to kick him too!!

I had my Neon stolen on New Years day this year. I got it back with very minimal damage, but they never found who took it in the first place.. Glad they were able to find this persons car AND the idiot that jacka$$ that stole it. I would like to join Silly Goose and Lucky Chick in said shin kicking.. :)

Sorry, comment time is over.
