West Seattle food: Heavenly Pastry and Cake opens @ noon today

First WSB’er JanS reported seeing it on a sign on the 2604 California SW storefront … then last night, it was announced on Facebook: Today’s the day Heavenly Pastry and Cake will open its doors. They’re between Alki Bike and Board and Linda’s Flowers and Gifts, and say they’ll be open noon-7 pm today. (Here’s our original preview story from last November.)

Heavenly Pastry & Cake brought some complimentary scones and soft pretzels into Shanti Salon and Spa to share with the employees and patrons. Yum Yum!!!! The scones just melted in your mouth. I know I will be stopping in often. :)

Yaaaaaaaaaaay.. I love sugary cupcakes and pastries. You can never have enough of them around. Open more of them in the Junction please.

Just came from there, it is a soft opening, so things are a bit slow as they work on flow and supply.

I did get a pretzel. They are $2.50 each, and they are really, really good!

How about a non-salted, chocolate filled creamed pretzel for breakfast? Yummy!

There is a chocolate filled bretzel in the works once we are up to full production. We LOVE chocolate and salty bread together. One time I almost asked warm bread smeared with nutella to marry me… but then i ate it.

We need to develop and vote on the Official West Seattle Addictive If-All-Restaurants-Could-Contribute-To-One-Megameal lineup. Entree, side dish, appetizer, beverage, etc. Hmm.

Sorry, comment time is over.
