Followup: Still looking for a new home for the holidays

After last weekend’s Morgan Junction Pet Adoption Stroll, somebody asked if all the pets looking for their forever homes found them. Not entirely … here we have Snoops from Saving Great Animals, whom Cheryl explains “was rescued off death row at the last minute, there solely due to over-crowding in a high-kill shelter. He is now ready for a loving forever home! Snoops is between 1-2 years old and weighs about 70 lbs and is a striking mix of shepherd and St. Bernard. He is tall and thick and healthy. He is GREAT with EVERYONE, and loves men, women, and children!!! He’s a little on the happy, spastic/rambunctious side, so he probably wouldn’t be suited for small kids without close supervision or until he learns to be careful moving around them.” She adds, “He is updated on his shots, micro-chipped and is going to be neutered this week.” There is an adoption fee; for more info, you can contact Cheryl at cherylrescue@gmail.com.

Hi WSB. Thank you for the follow up story on the Morgan Junction Pet Adoption Stroll. I had the pleasure of meeting Snoops during the event and he is a delight.

The Holidays Season is a wonderful time to adopt a new friend into your home and family. We didn’t have as many adoptions at the Stroll this year and hope folks will think about contacting the three rescue groups –or other group–about the adoption option. Cheers, F3

My husband and I adopted our lovely kitty from Saving Great Animals. It’s an awesome organization!

I would adopt “Snoops”…but he stuck his tongue out at me. :)

Awww…I wish we could. My boys would love him – but it seems so unfair to adopt a dog when you’re never home….you know?

I got my second beagle Betty Lu from Perrin over at Saving Great Animals. She is my little lovebird!

What a handsome fellow! My wish for him is a forever home for the holidays. I just adopted a rescue this past spring, or else I would definitely be looking up his number.

Sorry, comment time is over.
