To see the citywide average, check AAA’s latest stats. Thanks to Scott C‘s recent suggestion, we are noting the price of a barrel of oil each week at the time we update the survey; as of very early this morning, it’s $49.15 (down from $56.30 one week ago, $63.34 two weeks ago), per MarketWatch.com.
