When my Acura was stolen two years ago from Morgan St, I learned that there’s a big Acura theft trend. Your car is probably down in the Tukwila/SeaTac area and now missing it’s engine and drive train. The good thing was I got almost all my personal stuff back except a HAM radio. But I’ll optimistically keep an eye out for your car.

    plate number?

Plate number is generally irrelevant as thieves often swap it out; the victim here actually called us before sending the info and we discussed that.

Hope your story turns out as well as mine – my ’91 Acura Integra was snatched from in front of my house near 39th and Morgan about 4 years ago. Despite the contents of the trunk being found near Greenlake the day it was stolen, my car was FINE – abandoned by the thieves just 3 blocks away. Unfortunately, it took 2 months for the folks who lived on that block to report the strange car on their street that never moved. My car when found still had a full tank of gas (I’d filled it up the day before), no extra mileage, and no damage outside of the empty trunk. I’ll be on the lookout with my fingers crossed for you.

Sorry to hear about your car theft. My acura vigor was stolen about six weeks ago. I still have hopes that it will be found someday. Will keep my eyes open for your car. Who knew that cars built in the 90’s would be so popular for stealing.

Let this be a warning to all Honda/Acura owners. If you don’t already know by now, they are the biggest theft targets. Even though I knew that, I became complacent and did not use my steering wheel Club on my 99 Civic. One morning I discovered someone had broken into my car and tried to steal it. They damaged the whole steering wheel mechanism but thankfully were not able to start it. I now use my Club religiously and leave my front light on every night. It has not been bothered since.

Sorry, comment time is over.
