What every pet owner should know

This sad tale of what happened to a West Seattle man’s dog — despite it having a license and microchip — while he was on vacation, is a must-read if you have a pet.

That’s really terrible. I love animals myself but if I go away for a long period of time, I couldn’t trust even my mother to watch it day to day. When it’s not your pet, you really don’t care all that much. What baffles me is how did the dog get out on his own. I would have made sure it was full-proof for my pet not to get loose. So, I would come back to the neighbor once again and check with him/her and ask if they made sure the cage was secure everytime they fed the dog. Apparently what are you going to do? you can’t blame someone without evidence of negligence. But I bet he’s not talking with that neighbor anymore.

Sorry, comment time is over.
